Review on IHome Kitchen Speaker System IPhone by Justin Jefferson

Ordered it for my mother for Christmas as an accessory for her new iPhone 4S, we also got it for Christmas. We recently had to get rid of our small CD player/radio that we kept in the kitchen because it stopped working properly. I was looking for something that would allow us all to listen to music while cooking and cleaning, but still take up little space. I also wish my mom could plug her iPhone into the charging dock instead of the standard wall charger. It seemed like the perfect solution. Pros: The sound quality was surprisingly good for such a small device. The magnetic remote control is handy and easily accessible from the fridge where we keep it. Docking and charging the iPhone is very easy and space-saving thanks to the pull-out tray. The display is big and bright, which is nice (our old stereo had a very small display and was hard to see). The device is really very compact and fits perfectly in our kitchen. The black color and stainless steel finish looks nice and expensive. Cons: The drawer feels a little flimsy and I'm concerned about how it will hold up in use. There are no preset radio stations. For us this didn't seem like a big issue, but it would be a nice feature in future similar products. That's the only thing that stopped me from giving 5 stars. All in all a good device and exactly what I was looking for. My mom can charge her iPhone, listen to the radio or Pandora from her phone, and it doesn't take up much space.
