Not bad but gets very hot and requires app

The first thing you'll notice when buying it is the quality - the disc itself is metal and looks very solid. I also liked the packaging, it looks really high quality. The drive works as expected - I use it as portable storage that I can connect to anything (computer via USB-A, laptop via USB-C, iPhone via Lightning) without additional adapters. Note, however, that this requires an app on the iPhone. It does NOT work without an app and all transfers must be made through the app. The app is pretty easy to use and prompts you to launch it automatically as soon as you plug in a drive, but that's a nuisance for some users. -Cases. For example, you can't directly copy a folder from a drive to iCloud Drive (or Dropbox) - the app can only work with local storage or export files individually using the "Share" button. If a third-party app is an obstacle for you, consider getting an iPhone microSD adapter instead - they work directly with the built-in Files app and you can easily plug the card in anywhere, so they offer essentially the same functionality. . The drive gets quite hot even when you're not using it (but leave it plugged in). I'm not sure what happens when I try to copy 100GB of data to it.
