This small set of items is a great way to get started with Raspberry Pi IoT development. I use it to help my kids understand how the components work, as well as the different inputs, outputs, and results for them to experiment with. IE they came up with the idea of changing the color of the text and background of the LCD depending on the selected temperature and humidity ranges. They liked how easy it was. This allows them to understand the concepts without having to delve into the more complex calculations required to assemble components using a breadboard and the like. They will reach this point when they are ready. I'm lowering my rating by one star because it would be great to have a large library of C# code to work with more components. So we could take the GrovePi main interface board and connect other available GrovePi components not included in this kit. Being a .NET developer made it easier for me to get started, but it also motivated me to learn Python pretty soon. :)
