I bought these for my niece who lives in Northern California. She is 8 years old, 4 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 70 pounds. She's on the heavier side of the scale for kids her age. I bought her size XL/16, the pants will definitely shrink but they should fit her. My daughter is 9 years old, 4ft 6in, 62lbs, skinny and these pants would be too loose for her. She usually wears 10/12 at OldNavy and Children's Place.
