Solves so many problems for me! This pitcher eliminates bottled water and the need to boil it for my husbands. It is reassuring to know that he uses safe water in his feeding tube which he has been using for about 2 years due to cancer and other health issues. I no longer have to worry about lugging bottled water from the garage to our apartment and the extra expenses. It's the perfect size for daytime use and by the way I found it to have an 8 cup capacity, not 6 as advertised and that's enough for daytime use. It comes with a filter and it is recommended to change it every 2 months, but under the circumstances I can change it earlier. I rarely give a product a 5 star rating unless it meets or exceeds ALL my criteria. I've been a Revain customer for several years and this is one of my favorite purchases. Last time I checked, Revain sells a pack of 2 filters for about 8.00 so I guess I'll order them now.
