I've had the Magic Bullet for years but I've never had to mix ice. I recently came up with a low-carb green tea Frappuccino recipe that tasted just like the Starbuck version, but my Bullet kept leaving little bits of ice in the mix. That's why I ordered this knife. And what a surprise! My frappe is now absolutely perfect, with smooth bits of ice. My wife loves them. This blade is absolutely wonderful and I highly recommend it. If you are interested in the frappe recipe: Ingredients: 1 cup silky unsweetened soy milk, 1 level teaspoon matcha powder, 1/2 dropper, vanilla cream, sweet leaf, liquid stevia, 3/4 cup crushed ice, whipping cream for topping (optional ) ), put all the ingredients in a bullet blender (if you don't have one, buy one now!) and blend for a minute. As I said, it tastes just like Starbucks Frapp Green Tea, but with only one carb (no whipped cream)! Our whole family loves this drink!
