Great but difficult to cut.
It's hard to explain why, but the threaded stem of this lantern makes it very difficult to shorten. I also bought a black one for another room and it had a different thread which made it easy to trim the stem. I ended up using a piece of black pole to make this one shorter. I fit in pretty well, but I want to keep copper throughout. Otherwise and a great product. Looks very good. Brass isn't too shiny, but tasteful (i.e. not golden).
