Quality backpack in laptop accessories

I had few expectations for this bag. My colleague told me to look for a Swiss gear bag and I came across Cross Gear. I have never used a product from either company. I was pleasantly surprised at how much better and more durable it felt than any other backpack I've touched. I love all subjects and can fit some of my tech in them. It focuses a lot on holding devices and accessories. It wasn't very good to use for clothes. I have a few unique issues of my own. I chose this bag over Swiss gear because it fit most 17 inch laptops. My Asus g750-jx was an exception and it didn't fit in a backpack. It would really help me to mix and match bags on some trips but oh well. The charging mount is a really cool idea, but it's very limited and I think it could be fixed in future products with better designs. I was able to slip my 10,000mAh battery into my pocket, but when plugging in the charging cable, the connector protruded beyond the zipper, resulting in the back either not closing or closing with significant pressure on the connector and cable . I can work around this myself by looking for a low profile cable or maybe a right angle plug, but the cross gearing could increase the distance from the bag to the flash in the design. Another solution could be a cable cutout at the bottom of the bag, which allows the cable to be connected from the bottom of the bag. It just seems like there are a lot of design choices that work and for a great bag it's a little silly that this omission was made when so much attention has been paid to other areas of the bag. Overall I am very happy with this bag and glad I bought it.
