These LEDs are more flexible than other brands I've felt. This can be useful depending on your application. The rubber coating on the LEDs is thinner, which is an advantage in areas like the tube with tight ID tolerances. These bulbs can be soldered but you will need a thin tip. and thin solder. As another reviewer noted, these lights get dimmer the farther the LEDs are from the power source. I used all but 8 inches from a 16 foot roll and there is a noticeable difference from the end with the wires to where I cut them. I'll post a durability rating next summer if they last that long.
