I read on an online forum that 2 people got this to work with the Sony FX6 grip and I can confirm that it actually works as a Sony FX6 grip translator! this not only works, but saves you ALL manipulation of the grip when it is attached directly to the camera. Note: The cable that came with this unit will NOT work with the FX6. You'll have to pick up a TRRS extension instead, but these can be purchased online. I am very happy with this purchase!
