So at first I thought it was a cheap Chinese product, when I took it out of the box there were no instructions and I immediately felt its weight and knew it was not a low quality product. I can 100% confirm this works for Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ for Dex mode. In fact, I'm using it now. To use this product in Dex mode, you need to power the USB female adapter. Plug the HDMI male into the HDMI female connector and connect to your monitor or TV. Then you need either a USB keyboard/mouse or a Bluetooth keyboard/mouse or a powered USB hub. I'll leave the rest to you, but as soon as you connect your phone it should automatically start dex. if not, you did something wrong. To use this with Windows 10 you can just use a USBC to USB cable, you don't need this device. TO UPDATE. After only three months, this device stopped working. I don't recommend this for any kind of consistent use. I noticed that during operation, especially with various HDMI sources, it stalled in the middle of work and was definitely not considered stable.
