Arrange some mid 90's style bright brass knobs throughout the house. They started replacing them (on the first floor) with these updated bronze handles. It literally took me five minutes to install each door. All in all a great upgrade over the old brass fittings. Advantages: 1) Includes all necessary hardware (plates and screws) in the same finish as the handle. 2) Very easy to install, especially if you have an electric screwdriver. 3) Reversible handles - can be used on both left and right door. Cons (minor): 1) Some lubrication may be needed to keep the slide running smoothly. I will also replace the remaining bedroom door with them.
