Review on Unicorn Building Blocks by 🦄 Bloco Toys - Construct and Create! by Chris Prix

I hope you read this review before you decide not to buy this toy. Our whole family (including my 6 year old daughter, my husband and I) love Bloco toys. We put together a Jungle Animals set and a Kitty set and my daughter was delighted to receive this set for Christmas. After reading some of the reviews on this set I was a bit hesitant about buying it and I'm so happy I did. We have just assembled one of the horses and are very happy with the process and the result. In fact, my daughter did 90% of the work (and she just turned 6). We found the directions pretty easy to follow but we were able to just put them together based on the picture without any direction. When I told my daughter about the many bad reviews about the toy, she was outraged and encouraged me to tell everyone how great this toy really is. I would like to point out that I am not an engineer; In fact, anything related to technology would be one of my weakest points, and English is my fourth language (I teach world languages). Building something out of Bloco takes time and most kids need adult help, but the process is very easy and enjoyable (a great way to spend time with a kid) and the results are always stunning. We collected the first set (Jungle) right after my daughter turned 5 years old. She immediately fell in love with him and did at least 50% of the work. My advice: make sure you devote at least 1 hour to the project; If possible, ask your child to "rip out” the parts needed for the animal ahead of time (my daughter loves doing this too), then relax and have fun. Each box of Bloco offers ideas for more creative options (like silly monsters) made from the same parts, so the possibilities are truly endless. Collected together, the figures can be used as decorative items for children's rooms, played with (but very carefully), or taken apart and put back together into unique creatures. I'm currently looking for our next Bloco set (for Valentine's Day). If you're a kid in you and love to spend time with your child, you'll definitely love this or any other Bloco set!
