Review on 💿 8x DVD±RW DL Slot-Loading IDE Drive for Apple MacBooks - Hitachi/LG GSA-S10N by Damon Fields

Ordered February 28, 2012, received March 1, 2012. non-static bag. My older 5+ year old 15" SuperDrive MacBook Pro wasn't working. I gave it to a friend but I wanted it to be "complete" and I found and tried this ATAPI SuperDrive here. .This is one Branded by Apple and although it has a production date of March 2008 it looks like new/never installed.No scratches, no mounting marks from screws or brackets.I've opened up several of these MacBooks recently and even swapped the logic circuit board onto one, so Swapping the SuperDrive was no problem, you have to remove the 3 brackets from the old SuperDrive, I suggest you put 2 drives against each other and remove one, put it on the new one, remove the other etc. I was able to format the Lion a Disc and install and Office Install , Acrobat, Photoshop and other applications with SuperDrive without problems.
