I've had it for a few seasons and my cats have walked around it from time to time, I think a clump of cat hair got in there and is about to catch fire. I turn it on and off throughout the night waking up with chills. It heats up pretty quickly and the fan sounds like white noise to me. I kept checking the door for delivery, had to go a few nights without it and got lost. It looks like it came in white this year, but I was only able to buy black. Now I have fewer animals so that shouldn't be a problem. I've had other small space heaters that have never impressed me for one reason or another. In addition, the space requirement is small. I just love it! It warms me up in minutes.
