Review on ICY DOCK FlexiDOCK MB522SP-B - Dual 2.5” SSD Dock with Tool-Less Hot-Swap, SATA/SAS Compatibility for External 3.5” Bay by Stephen Thomas

I installed this unit in a 5.25" drive bay using an Ice Dock adapter. Installation was quick and easy as you would expect from a drive bay. I've had it installed on my computer for about a month now and it works fantastic. Discs are inserted and removed from the device quite smoothly and with the right amount of effort. I've added/removed drives at least 100 times since installation with no change in functionality. I never thought that I would benefit from such a product, but it turned out that I had accumulated 5 2.5" drives from different laptops. /pc ranging in size from 500GB to 2TB and they all worked great. However, it should be noted that 2TB will be as large a drive as this device can physically fit, at least at the time of this review, as it is limited to 9.5mm high drives and will not accommodate larger 15mm high drives. hard drives. In all insert/delete windows 10 also did a great job extracting/inserting and playing on insert. This made it very convenient to archive things in storage that shouldn't be available every day, but I also don't want to delete them, such as: B. old photos/home videos. Overall I am very impressed with the product. and I would happily recommend it to anyone.
