NOTE: I purchased the double hammock, but this may also apply to the single.This is a great hammock, easy to setup and easy to pack back into the attached stuff-sack. I've only used it a few times, so far, but it seems to be sturdily built, and I expect it to last for many more camping seasons. The strap loops give you a lot of adjustment options, and they're really a game changer - no fussing with extra ropes and straps. With the hammock and straps tucked into the stuff sack, it's pretty compact, but if you're looking for a hammock to take backpacking, this one might be a bit bulkier/heavier than you would want. However, I love double hammocks like this, because the roominess for a single user equates to added comfort; you don't feel as "squeezed" at the shoulders and can also pull the extra material around you, like a burrito, for shade.
