This sturdy carrier works well as a carrier or stroller. I love that I can put the cat in it at home, take her to the car, and then attach her to the stroller for a trip to the vet without opening it and escaping my little Houdini-inspired kitty. . However, problems arise as a backpack, bike carrier or car seat. The problem with using a car seat is that the instructions say to "attach the velcro to the seat belt". The pictured velcro is not included and the attached photo shows that the velcro is an "optional accessory to purchase". (And of course I couldn't find it on the Ibiyaya website, so I can't tell you how much it would cost to use as a car seat.) As a rollaway or backpack, the unit sits upright. And the mat is only attached with Velcro to the wall, which serves as the wearer's floor when lying down. So your pet sits or lies in an upright position on unlined hard plastic with air holes big enough for a small paw to slip through. Also, when ordering, make sure you get the right product. (I actually ordered one of each as each carrier can only comfortably hold one cat.) Despite my little nitpicks about the misleading product description, I am very happy with the carriers. Like I said, they're well built. They also fold up for storage. And the stroller's frame is strong, folds easily, and has wheels that roll and turn very easily. My cats also seem to be as comfortable as possible.
