I simply cannot give this grease gun more than one star. Despite the solid construction, functionality and ease of use, grease leaks around the plunger, so a day after loading the plunger is fully depressed and all the grease is OUTSIDE the plunger. This means that when the piston is pulled back everything is thrown out through the bottom. I stuck with it, loaded the second cartridge and put some lube on it. After 24 hours the plunger is down and all the remaining grease is back behind the plunger waiting to spill out when I try to load the next round. So I think it works fine if you load a cartridge and use all the lube at once, but otherwise you're wasting money on both this device and all the lube you'll be wasting.
