If you keep your military ID card or credit card with a smart card chip in an outside pocket, the screen can stick to the chip and damage the card. The wallet destroyed two of my military ID cards and caused me to be out of work for three days, costing taxpayers a lot of money. I wrote to the company and they said yes, this can happen if I put my wallet in my back pocket. Where else should I put it? No replacement or solution was offered.
