I have just returned from a 2 week stay in Beijing and Xi'an. This card just doesn't work exactly in China. It's always between 200 and 400 meters, so it's completely useless for directions and basically useless for getting to where you want to be, even if you're using direct (non-driving) navigation. Everything works fine, but your route and position on the map is always far from the road you are on. To show this I've included an image of our route to the Great Wall of China which is displayed on the Garmin map. Our track is well formed but far from the main road we rode on. I have the necessary binary in my Garmin Epix to fix "Chinese map offset" (I checked) but it just doesn't work. I ended up downloading the Map Plus iPhone app for free, downloaded Open Street Maps of China (free), uploaded my waypoints and the iPhone app worked great. So the choice seems to be something like 'Map Plus', which is free and does a great job correcting China's misalignment, or spending $70 on a useless Garmin map that claims to work, but for the worse personal experience is utterly useless for the intended purpose.
