Review on ๐Ÿšจ Enhanced 4VWIN Driveway Alarm for Instantly Alerting Homeowners of Approaching Individuals by Paul Andrews

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Don't forget the batteries and use super good double sided tape.

Arrived quickly and in a nice box. Inside were two motion sensors and a receiver. Everything took batteries, which is to be expected. Each sensor uses a 9V battery, the receiver uses type C batteries. The ONLY real issue I've had is this: the battery case covers all the necessary small screws to hold the covers in place, and the problem for me was this; There were NO screws included. No blocks, no box, no screws to hold the battery covers in place. I solved it with tape. Next comes the assembly of the components. Too bad there weren't any brackets. Instead, I sealed the back of each sensor with Gorilla double-sided tape and then just taped them where I wanted them. One is attached to the decorative stone surface between the doors of my garage, the second is glued to the wood moldings decorating one of the top gates. Both point at each other and are about 40 feet apart. Doors with tools and the like inside. Because the sensors are directional, if someone walks into my driveway, one or the other sensor will recognize them. Which brings me to the receiver. out! If you tune in too high, you gain the honor of being yelled at by a woman who is hard of hearing. Conclusion: It WORKS! For my next phase in Operation Stop the Bad Boys, we're moving to one of the more fun phases. driving his wife a little crazier with super loud alarms for almost no reason. I ordered another set for the back yard and side yard where we regularly take out the trash, access the grill, mow the lawn and feed the dogs. It should be cool. Who said quarantine isn't fun? When I get tired of bugging my beloved wife or after the pan-shaped swelling from the back of my head has subsided, whichever comes first, I plan to place a 3rd sensor on the way to the front door. And Block 4 at the back gate which could only be opened to bring in and take out a trash can unless you were one of the bad boys. Again, I ended up liking this product so much again, even without the missing lid screws to order another set.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
