This band for a Fitbit is very pretty. It is adjustable in length, but only by removing links; so it may not fit quite where you normally wear it. It is completely compatible with the Fitbit, but for me, it would not stay tight enough to actually monitor heart rate. Obviously, this is a decorative, dressy band, so that is most likely not your primary concern when wearing this particular band. If you have let your normal dress watch batteries go dead b/c you wear the Fitbit every day, this is a great option for more formal occasions so you still have a watch & can monitor texts/phone calls.
