I have this so I can hear my elderly mother from her bedroom. One month now and it's working great. My son and I take turns sleeping with her. She fell last month and we want to be by your side as she recovers. My son was there and heard them fall through the monitor again. He was able to reach her quickly and help her. She felt safer knowing he was there, hearing her, and coming to her quickly. This time she wasn't hurt. Luckily.
