More than expected - blender and sponges

The last beautyblender I had was destroyed by my cat because I forgot to close the bathroom door while it was drying on the counter. I bought it with my second beauty blender. I've had it for a few weeks now and can't complain. The silicone is thick. I was expecting plastic because I didn't read the description before buying. Still, it does its job well since my cat hasn't touched it. I agree with other reviews that they don't dry well in the case. Is it worth your money? Depends on how you see it. This is for me since my cat destroys sponges.
