I thought it was a great idea. Buy a Displayport connector that can connect your monitors. Old monitors, new monitors, TVs, you name it, this adapter works with them all. It lasted long enough to break the 30x return window, and then no more. You have to wiggle it to make it work, and I won't damage my new computer by plugging in something that only works if you wiggle it. I buy two and the second one works fine so I know it's buggy, but if it breaks in the land of Revain after 30 days, stick with it. So don't waste your money
