This meter works great. I tested my Fluke 87v and Fluke 289. It's pretty accurate. As the name suggests, it is a product rebrand. If you search for CEM DT-989 you will see counter pictures. I'd say it's pretty lazy and it took a star off me. Overall, the measuring device is excellently suited for most applications. I tried it on circuit boards and the only thing that worked for me was a continuity test to check for shorts on the board. Ohm was a little hard to read on the board. Diode mode is not well suited for measuring transistors on a PCB. My Fluke 289 performed best with my Fluke 87V when it came to measuring circuits on a board, if that's what you're into. I found the CEM DT-989 around $225. This counter should be cheaper in my opinion. Hope that helps.
