Replacing the hard drive was not a difficult task, you remove the left cover (it is on the top left when the game console is laid flat). What you need to do once the new disc is installed is go to playstation.com, find the software download and install it on a USB drive, something like ps4update.pup. Then plug the USB into the blue USB 3.0 port, turn on the Playstation and put it in safe mode. You hold down the power button and release it when you hear 2 beeps. In safe mode, select option 6 or 7. The software transfer will then begin. You must now back up your save data before attempting this. This will erase the Playstation. You can use the same USB for this. Eventually after 2 or 3 hours lol you should now be able to enjoy a bigger hard drive. If all the work is worth it now, if you don't want to fool around with an external hard drive, with its connection and proper separation from the Playstation, then yes. This product is written correctly and it comes with clear and concise instructions. I highly recommend this product, I've had it installed for a while now and haven't had my first problem with it.
