I'm just out of the return window so all I can do is warn people - DO NOT BUY THIS! I bought 2 (one for the office and one for home) and returned one because the monitor connection stopped working, I just thought it was a bad connection. But this second one also stopped working for the monitor. The video connection from my monitor stopped working about 1.5 months after I started using it. I tried different ways to connect1. Cable from DVI on my monitor to USB-C to USB on this hub2. Cable from DVI on my monitor to HDMI on this hub. Both broke the connection after 1.5 months. If I use a DVI to USB-C cable separately for my MacBook Air without a hub, it works, but I still need to power my Mac and use external drives, so I need a hub. Other USB-C hubs I have work, but they're not as convenient as this connector. They have long cords, don't look very tidy, and hang off the edge of my desk. Very disappointed as they are expensive and not even heavy enough for a paperweight!
