January 12, 2021 This thermal fuse was used to repair an HDX floor fan whose motor housing was never cleaned by the previous owner. The dust accumulated and insulated the wires causing it to overheat and blow the factory fuse. This fuse is large for my purposes, but it was pre-tinned and matched the original's specs, despite being much larger. I connected it. and it worked like a charm. So if it fits your needs and you have the space for it, go for it.
