Worked as soon as the batteries were in
My dad's old remote was so broken the battery cover, volume buttons and cover were missing. It has been a pain to use so far. Ordered as a light gift at the turn of the year. I put the batteries in and my TCL Roku TV started working right away. No programming required. It is identical to the original and works great! I put a glow in the dark protective rubber sheet on the remote control and hopefully it stays intact! Highly recommended!
