Bought because it was on sale and the non-branded plaque it replaced only rattled in the cold when it was fully open. I have a city pressure of 95 psi at home (and on our street). I complained about the ears of death to the builders who actually tested the PSI (after saying quite a bit that I don't know what I'm talking about). This faucet does not knock. I have been a licensed PLG & HTG HVAC contractor for over 40 years and have installed many Moen products. I've always loved that homeowners get free parts (for life). There were two things I didn't particularly care about about this faucet. First, the threaded bolt came with a thread (or nut) that wasn't cut with that level of precision. The bolt is about 6" long and I was able to turn the special bushing (included) by hand, but it wasn't as easy as it should have been. However, installation generally wasn't difficult. The second thing to mention I didn't pay attention was when the faucet handle was in the "off" position, towards the sink and very close to the water jet. When I'm half open in the cold position, the handle can interfere with hand washing. I know, it's a bit like a pikyu. But I like the faucet. Too bad it came to Chrome.
