Many people say it's too hard on the body but don't put that much strain I've been using one for three or four weeks I've ordered four more Christmas gifts I think they're amazing. I find that the slowest setting with heat and only one direction is best. You also need to be seated on a chair or sofa with a padded back for it to work best
