Didn't want to buy a new axle shaft as OEM is expensive and sometimes it's an aftermarket play on torque. I bought it not knowing if it would fit, but it does. I didn't have a cone small enough to fit over the joint, so I took out the entire shaft. Watch out for escaping gear oil. You can also change the liquid at this stage. Take synthetic gear oil 75W-90 l. You need two liters. Check out how it works on YouTube. Cut off the last step. Assemble, apply lubricant and tighten. Works well. I'll update this if it fails, but I doubt it will.
