I must say right away that I bought a Chinese device
I put the Play Market, they helped me put an additional keyboard and, in principle, I could live. The only thing that got in the way was a bunch of widgets in Chinese (they are removed, but there were also useful ones like "Health") and applications also in Chinese. Some of the menus (not in the system, but when using applications) also represented hieroglyphs and not in English.

Then, at some point, I shuddered and I decided to put the globalka, did everything according to the instructions, waited a week to unlock the bootloader, removed it via miflash_unlock-en-5.5.224.24, downloaded the globalka 12.5.3 (the Chinese one was 12.5.7), on the second attempt I flashed it through MiFlash2022-3-14-0 (with the checkbox "clean all and lock" did not start) and from the first minutes I realized that I had made a mistake.
The set of applications of the Chinese and Global versions is different and not for the better for the Global. Yes, all these Google applications have appeared, but the losses are greater. From what I remember and used regularly (2-3 weeks) and what was missing:
- video animation: something like MSQRD but much cooler - you could completely customize the avatar for yourself (color, hairstyle, gender, face shape, or take existing presets of people or animals). The kid was just crazy about it
- AI assistant. This is not a Google Assistant, but a personal virtual secretary, to whom you set the work algorithm and he answers calls for you. Thanks to him, in just 2 weeks, the number of advertising calls fell from 5 per day to less than one.
- Built-in widgets. Although they are in Chinese, there were several useful ones like "Health"
- autonomy from 5 days (I did not use it very actively) fell to 2-3 (the same mode of use).
- began to warm up more.

I thought I would only benefit from switching to a global network, but not only did I lose OTA ates due to unlocking the bootloader, I also lost more than I won. If satisfied with CN-do not repeat my mistake

The main disadvantage is that I bought the device as a Cameraphone, such as TOP1 in the DXOMARK rating, I had to upgrade the old One + 6 and get rid of the need to carry the "big" "old" 550 Canon with me, but that was not the case. It looks like these 50 megapixels are simple software processing. Look at the 50MP photo in 100% crop on the feathers of a parrot - solid "soap". There is such a cool program "JPEGmini", I use it to compress photos. So, the program compresses the 18MP photo of the Canon landscape by 2-2.5 times, and the 50MP photo xiaomi mi11Ultra of the same plan is more than 8 times. This indicates a lack of detail in the photo. Therefore, 12mp - yes, the photo is super, but 50mp is pure marketing and software processing. And when you buy a camera phone for more than $1,000, you expect to get something fundamentally better than a 10-year-old digital camera. Do not believe marketing articles on the Internet - take a display sample in the salon (although since this device is not officially sold in 2022, it will be difficult for us to do this) or from friends and click yourself. I am attaching a 100% cropped photo and a 50% compressed original photo (since you cannot upload a photo larger than 10Mb to ). The photo of the crop shows what kind of porridge the feathers are.
