I bought both spiral and wavy for long hair. I have long thick hair and it was painful for me to use. First, the spiral hook that catches the hair broke and wouldn't stick together. Then I switched to the crochet hook from the wavy hair kit and it didn't even glue together to pull the hair through. It was worth a lot of effort for what I got. I struggled with this and did my hair in small sections. But after a few hours my thick hair was still damp in places. It wasn't worth it.
