Some frustrations

Bought 2 months ago as an oversized version of my other Travelon bag in development for the last 2 weeks. (Cannot go back). This bag is larger, but since the zipper in the main compartment doesn't extend all the way to the side of the bag, it won't fit an iPad. Zipper pullers (like all zippers) have a hole for attaching tabs. The holes on these sliders are large enough that when the handle is turned during airport security, the rings intended for secure closure, as well as a tab from another computer, slip into one of the sliders, effectively tying the zippers together in a knot. . I didn't have a tool and 2 of the tabs came loose when trying to untangle the knots. I also had a constant problem with the lining getting tangled in the zippers of the two most used compartments. The clip for attaching the handle to the chair is thinner than my previous bag and doesn't feel as secure as the previous carabiner. The crossbody handle is actually very long and the hardware to shorten it would inevitably cut my throat. As with the previous bag, the credit card slots are very loose and there is nothing inside to secure cards in place. On the other hand, the expandable floor is nice and the safety features feel useful.

Pros
  • Twist lock allows free movement of the strap and can be attached to a stationary object to prevent it from falling out
Cons
  • Inconvenient
