I have no problems with the battery life of my mouse. I work in the dark a lot, so I love this glow-in-the-dark mouse. The clicks are so quiet they don't even exist. Very pleasant feel and functionality. I think it's a reasonable price considering other non-backlit mice are around $10-$15. I think it depends on how badly you want your mouse to have a backlight function. That's the only reason I bought it. And I hate USB mice because the cable gets in my way and constantly gets in the way. I use this to travel with my Chromebook and love it so far.
