Completely replaced the original part, no complaints
It was fairly easy to install, just make sure the digitizer cable is plugged in properly. It took me two tries, the latch lever was a little in the way on the computer side, but the replacement was done in record time, giving me time to sand down the rough edges of the dropped case. The item came quickly and was well packaged.
