These hangers are strong and well built. I currently have four bikes hanging from them in my garage and I will be adding a fifth once the last hanger arrives tomorrow. The hooks don't move - as several reviewers have pointed out, the top screw (closest to the hook) is difficult to insert, as the hook blocks access with a screwdriver or drill. I drilled a pilot hole in a plank that I attached to the wall, then used a small hex head screw instead of the included decking screws. I tightened this screw with a small wrench. BTW, I would strongly advise against using the drywall anchors that come with it. Instead, screw into a stud or piece of wood that screws into the wall. As others have pointed out, the included decking screws are cheap and made of soft metal. Replace the higher quality screws, pre-drill pre-holes and you will find it easier to mount them on the wall. My only criticism of these hangers is that if you're using them to hang multiple bikes side-by-side, you need to leave enough space between them to move the bike to the right when loading or unloading. If your bikes are hung too close together, you'll bump into the bike next to the one you're moving when you hang them up or take them off. I space the hangers sixteen inches apart and then alternately hanging the bikes handlebars up and handlebars down. It's a little tight, but definitely navigable. Overall these hangers are sturdy and I love how they free up more space in my garage!
