Review on Enhanced Audio Cable Cord, Earla Tec Extension Wire with In-line Mic Volume Control for Bose QuietComfort QC25 QC35 Headphones (Black) by Michael Lara

Buttons don't work properly

I ordered this to connect my Bose QC35s to my Goodle Pixel 3A. The headphones work and sound as expected - nothing brilliant, but they work (don't expect audiophile quality from this setup or cable price). However, the buttons on the microphone part do not work as expected at all. The volume up button and middle button show a cue as to which assistant I want to use (Google or Alexa), while the volume down button works as expected. During a call, the middle button ends the call as intended, but the top/volume button just calls the assistant no matter what's happening on the phone. The only way to increase the volume is on the side of the phone, which overrides the button assignments on the cord. return of this item. Possibly for a replacement to see if that particular box is hooked up incorrectly as there are many positive reviews on this cable (can we even trust the positive reviews?) Update - The replacement does the same thing. This cable may not be compatible with Google Pixel 3A or may not be compatible when using a virtual assistant such as Google Asst or Alexa. Whatever it is, only Vol will work, Vol+ will show an on-screen prompt asking which helper you want to use. PLUS, when refilling, the + button sticks / releases very slowly; So quality problem when downloading. I'll come back for a refund. We wish you the best of luck if you order this! To add insult to injury, it took Revain WEEKS to refund the order upon receipt of the product, so you might as well factor that in. if you are thinking of ordering this device. I'm just saying.
