I love these speakers and use them every night. However, I didn't like this headband, so I made my own. The original headband was too tight, stiff and uncomfortable, and due to its shape, it slipped down over the eyes. I do not want it. I found that the speakers detach from the headband for washing, so I learned how to do it and assembled my own headband in minutes by cutting a long rectangle of polar fleece and then joining the ends into a circle and folding them lengthwise and sew one side together. . I then cut a slot to insert the speakers on top. I made mine very loose (measured my own head and added a few inches) so it was easy to put on and take off and didn't leave a dent in my hair. ribbon, so I made a second one by simply cutting a long rectangle out of the polar fleece, folding it lengthwise and sewing along the edge. I left the ends open and not tied together - this makes it easier to access the speakers, pull through and adjust their placement. I cut a slit in the top center to insert the speakers. (I put velcro on top to keep them from pulling out.) This way I can rest my head on one speaker, then reach to the other side and attach it to my other ear. It's much more convenient. I also often don't use the lower speaker because lying down is uncomfortable, I just put the upper one over my ear. I don't throw or twist much and it stays in place well for me. The speakers themselves aren't super high-end, but they're ok. I listen to podcasts and audio books and they do a great job. The cable is very strong and seems to last a long time. Will definitely be replacing them again when they finally wear out!
