Review on Munchkin ColorMix Learning Toddler Tablets by Erika Martin

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The 3 year old loves it but it has some flaws.

Includes two suction cups for wall mounting. Two chambers that contain the paint and then the spout. The suction power is definitely not enough. It fell twice today but I made an effort and it survived the rest of the bath. The color chambers had to be designed differently to provide equal parts for each color in the mixing chamber. As a result you get more water in one direction and it dominates the mixing chamber and you don't see the color until you turn the knob and it won't pour out (super fast I might add). I tell my son to find out what color they produce by looking at the water in his bathtub. The handle will be harder to turn if dexterity is not a strong point. However, it also helps my son focus and make more effort. When you turn it on, it fires really really fast. Let's get to work and try to spin slowly to see how the colors are evenly distributed. This results in about 4 tabs in red, purple, blue and yellow. You can buy additional or even fake versions. Cleaning - It has a grid at the top where the colors go and it's not removable so it's difficult to clean it really well. I still give it 4 stars for that. My son loves it, looks forward to it and learns from it, all toys have their flaws and the Munchkin can definitely upgrade the thing to have a better toy...but as a tester of the first version...he keeps it going for a while at least 20 minutes and that's a big win for me.
