Review on Virgil Security by James Roper

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great product albeit needs improvements

Nothing so far nothing very much to dislike with virgif but it does not support all browsers as promised (only works properly in chrome). No mention of their pricing - this is a bit misleading when you see that other competitors charge upwards of £20 just because ios/android devices they target will likely be using these applications too. Their platform makes sense if you want something secure out-of-the-box for development or testing purposes. Just because your device supports an API doesn't mean your app can make use of it! You should know what features are supported by the version of iOS or Android running on your test device otherwise if there's an issue, you're probably going to get charged anyway rather than told to upgrade your OS + iOS version. They've had some issues over last couple of years but I'm sure those have been ironed out now. We were looking at how best to provide end customer The best feature about Virgil is the speed in which it can scan your app and analyze the vulnerabilities. It's very easy to use and provides amazing results. The UI could be a bit more user-friendly. You need a bit of technical knowledge to use it. Nothing. It's a great tool for scanning web applications for vulnerabilities. Virgil allows us to focus on more important things.
