Difficult to get the used device verification code

Tried to connect fully. I can't retrieve the passed verification code using the app. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app but that didn't help. . I have tried to get help from the manufacturer but have not received any help yet. The only thing that was done was they sent me a second device. The second did not improve the connection problem.
