Review on Beelink GK35 Mini PC with Intel Processor J3455, Windows 10 Pro, 8GB DDR3/128GB SSD, Auto Power On, WOL, 4K HD, Bluetooth 4.0, Dual HDMI, 2.4G/5G WiFi, Gigabit Ethernet, Mini Desktop Computer by Alexander Chavis

This is the second Beelink Mini I've tried. I use the GK 55 every day in my family and it's great. This mini is almost identical except that it has a slower processor and the top isn't glossy. Although I am not a Celeron J3455 fan, this computer is not too slow and can be used. It actually seems pretty smooth. Surprisingly, it doesn't get very hot, which is a real problem with the few mini PCs I've had. So far my impression of the Beelink is that it makes great mini PCs. It's easy to remove the bottom from this PC, and there's a bay that easily fits a 2.5-inch drive, SSD, or SSD. There I inserted a floppy disk with Batocera Linux. This turns this little mini machine into a pretty nice emulator machine. It works much better than my Raspberry Pi 4 and can work. It's nice to be able to run a large emulator with an internal hard drive. It can run games a generation or two newer than the Pi. I've seen a few setups that require an external drive and it's a little annoying. I see sellers on Ali Express selling Batocera mini PCs for $500. This is madness. Batocera is free to download and relatively easy to set up. Considering the price of the Raspberry Pi and the accessories it requires, this little mini computer is a great alternative - much more powerful for a little more money. (The Pi alone is great, but if emulation is your goal, that's not the limit.) It would be nice to have a bigger SSD in this mini, but I don't really use it, so it's not that big of a deal. Problem. I would also like to see a USB-C port on a computer this size.
