We have been using this water filter for many years and cannot complain about the good workmanship. It is recommended to change these filters every 6 months, but if you skip a month these filters will still work great. It's amazing when you clean the filter you see how dirty city water can be. By using these filters I know I'm getting a quality filter that will last a month and at a reasonable price. The filter is extremely easy to replace and it takes no more than a few minutes to replace and install a new filter.
