Review on 🔒 Enhanced Protection with Pop & Lock PL2500 Black Manual Tailgate Lock for Ford (Factory-Less Security) by Phil Casey

Excellent seller service with timely delivery of the Ford trunk lock. The Pop & Lock PL2500 is poorly designed and requires user modification, the area above the lock (key insertion element) needs sanding or the rear door plastic latch will not fall all the way down. You will then need to bend the curved part over the sticker, you can see the hole in the picture to allow the Pop & Lock PL2500 to slide under the tailgate's plastic latch or it won't go all the way in. Also, the plastic door handle is flexible, and while the latch mechanism tries to prevent the latch from opening, the plastic tailgate handle flexes enough to open the tailgate. So the latch does not close completely and the lock does NOT lock. I have read many reviews about what I understand now. This income statement is a POS.
