Doesn't smell like maple at all.

I was hoping it actually smelled like maple, which actually doesn't. My husband says it smells like "old lady flower perfume" so he didn't like it at all. It softened my hair a bit but many shampoos do! I think that the cost of such items was a bit high and noticeably higher than if I bought at the market.
