I usually like Danco products. I didn't like it the first time 1) When hands are slippery from conditioner or soap, the grip becomes hard. The original was more like an octagon, so the flat edges were comfortable to hold. It has many small sharp edges, almost a circle. 2) The middle screw cover is 1/3 the size of the original. So the ugly faucet control is visible because of its crystal. I had to stick some matte tape to hide it. 3) The hot/cold air indicator has a notch for its positioning. It always showed hotter at the top, no matter the position. I had to put my own notch on it, rotated 60 degrees from the original, so it showed the temperature. They could have done a few notches to allow for adjustment.
